Larchmont is a suburb of New York City that sits about 12 miles to the northeast, right on the northern coast of the Long Island Sound.  The village has many trees and parks, like Manor Park, which looks out onto the water.  The main strip of the village has shopping and many great restaurants, most with outside dining and excellent food.  All of this is just a 30 minute express train to Manhattan, making for a nice living in a great location.
